The Annual International Congress of Doctoral Students (CAIED; formerly known as CAED) is an annual international academic event that aims to promote the meeting and interdisciplinary exchange of scientific knowledge between doctoral students from different universities. The CAIED was born as an initiative promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Research of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) but is open to the participation of doctoral students from any university.

A group of doctoral students from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, with the Vice-Rectorate for Research of the same university, is organising the 3rd Annual International Conference of Doctoral Students. The event, which is free of charge, will be held online on 2 and 3 February 2023. Oral and poster papers from any field of knowledge can be presented. In addition, there will be plenary lectures and workshops with cross-cutting content of interest to students from all branches of knowledge.

This year, undergraduate and master’s degree students will be allowed to participate, so that they can see what doctoral-level research is being carried out.
