Organised by Universidade do Minho, the seminar is taking place in Braga as an initiative of the Law School and its Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov).

The Seminar “Crime and Art” aims to initiate an approach to criminal sciences through the polysemic prism of art.

It will address the intimate connection between different aesthetic expressions and crime as a profoundly complex human phenomenon from a similar perspective. This Seminar aims to raise relevant reflections in this area based on an interdisciplinary and artistic approach.

Organized by Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov), and coordinated by Fernando Conde Monteiro,  Margarida Oliveira Santos and Pedro Jacob Morais, the event is taking place on the 22nd March at the “Auditório Nobre” of the Law School at Campus de Gualtar, Guimarães
