On the 14th and 19th of September, the Universidad Santo Tomás will organise two academic events as part of the SuCCESS project, with the participation of professors involved in the consortium.

Luz Stella Rodríguez Mesa, a member of the SuCESS Project team at the University of Santo Tomás, will be taking part in the first academic activity, where she will give a lecture on: “Therapeutic Justice: evaluation of a programme aimed at demobilised members of armed groups in Colombia”. This event will take place on 14th of September 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Colombian time, and will be broadcast on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/maesdpenal). In the conference, Luz Stella Rodríguez Mesa, will incorporate the learnings from the mobilities done between June and July 2022, within Work Package 4 of the SuCCESS Project.

In the second academic activity, Alejandro Gómez Jaramillo, member of the SuCESS Project team of the University of Santo Tomás and Dean of the Faculty of Law will give a lecture on “The criminology of the South and the current challenges for Latin America”. This event will take place on September 19, 2022, at 5:30 p. m., Colombian time, and will be broadcasted on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/maesdpenal). Alejandro Gómez Jaramillo will incorporate the learnings from the mobilities done between June and July 2022, within Work Package 4 of the SuCCESS project, strengthening teaching in criminology.
