This innovative master’s degree, currently under evaluation, will be launched soon by the department of Law at the Antonio Nariño University
But why is this important? What distinguishes this new master’s programme proposed by Antonio Nariño University? There are three key aspects that bring freshness to the current educational offers on this subject area.
Firstly, the master’s curriculum has a component focused on the conflict, which seeks to provide students with the necessary tools to understand and manage it assertively, without recurring to punitive ways. Issues such as restorative justice, theory of conflict and territorial conflict will be on the agenda of the new course.
This new master’s degree has an in-depth emphasis on Southern Green Criminology, which seeks to understand the problems of green crime and the construction of knowledge from the epistemologies of the South.
Finally, the program will also have a strong component dedicated to Transnational Organized Crime that addresses organized crime from criminal geopolitics, the relationship between human rights and conflict, and transitional justice.
